LiveVillage - Seattle Edition is a demonstration of Villageware's Neighborhood Objects technology, part of a concept called LiveVillage. LiveVillage consists of mapping tools, data formats, a map viewing program, and web site generation and maintenance tools. Maps of the city are made up of Neighborhood Objects, which are special data containers that represent real-life objects such as buildings and shops. One feature of these objects is the easy generation and maintenance of web-based virtual landscapes, which could be part of a local information web site like LiveVillage - Seattle Edition. The LiveVillage - Seattle Edition site is generated and maintained using our software.

About the Map

This map lists only street-facing shops, so mall shops are not shown, and neither are shops on upper or lower floors of buildings. Depictions of shops and buildings are representational, not exact, and are edited for best appearance.
